Rule Of Thirds

Rule Of Thirds

This is the one trick I always rely on when it comes to taking a good photo. Sometimes that rule can be broken, but I still believe this is a great base for taking your everyday snaps!

The rule of thirds is a basic guideline in photography and visual art that helps create balanced and engaging compositions.

The Rule of Thirds is a simple composition technique that can make your photos feel more natural and visually interesting. Imagine dividing your image into a 3x3 grid—two vertical and two horizontal lines. Instead of placing your subject in the centre, try positioning it along one of these lines or where they intersect (the stars). Our eyes are naturally drawn to these points, which helps create a more balanced and engaging image.
Here's some pics I shot with my Lola Camera, where the rule of thirds is applied:
I encourage you to give this technique a try! You may be amazed at how much this simple trick can elevate your photos :)
